BuyGameCurrency was started in late 2005 as a small project. There wasn't much programming involved on the site, we simply listed suppliers that we had ordered from and wrote about the experience we had with each of them. The site began to gain popularity and so we decided to add the ability to view prices of virtual currency on our site. Prices were updated daily, but the process was tedious. World of Warcraft had so many servers that it would take our systems hours to decipher all the data we had to download. Other websites began to develop that were doing what we did, but they did it better. Rather than compete, we let them take on the daunting task of comparing wow gold, ffxi gil, eq2 plat etc..It simply wasn't worth it to invest so much time into something that wasn't very profitable.

I was pretty impressed with what I saw at first: charts, analysis, accurate data. However after time, things began to slack and the services started to become useless. Prices weren't updated daily and were often incorrect. Most suppliers listed on these price comparison sites were scamming people left and right.

So after letting it go for so long, I decided that I would look into starting BuyGameCurrency back up..

My goal was to provide accurate pricing data from only the top rated suppliers. Sure we may not have the absolute cheapest wow gold, but at least you know you're not going to get scammed. We provide a place to safely purchase virtual currency at the best possible price.
